Winter in the Garden
Come enjoy a magical journey into the beauty of winter! This hands-on experience is perfect for curious kids and their families to explore winter blooming flowers and uncover the hidden gems of the natural world when we might think most of nature is asleep. Participants will learn about the incredible resilience of certain flowers and plants and how they thrive in the cold and bring vibrant colors to the winter season.

Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children’s curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, hands-on activities and data collection.
Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day’s lesson, consisting of observation/experimentation, data collection and analysis.
Budding Naturalist occurs the Third Tuesday of each month.
